Last week, I linked to a video report about the Illinois Republican Party distancing themselves from a candidate running for Barack Obama's old seat. At issue was a radio ad that accused the party's front runner and a current Representative of being a "secret homosexual".

Well now, the fellow, whom the candidate claims to have said that Rep. Mark Kirk (R-IL) "is part of a Republican Party homosexual club" has announced, though he did make the allegation on a radio show, he has "nothing to do with that SOB" and is seeking to stop the ad.

"Perennial" Republican candidate, Andy Martin has questioned the sexual orientation of Republican Senatorial front-runner and current US Congressman Mark Kirk (R-IL), so the party has essentially declared Mr. Martin a non-legitimate candidate and pulled the rug from his campaign.

While the openly gay Democrat running for the same office, Jacob Meister, says that if the allegation is out there, since Rep. Kirk is a Naval Officer, he could be a victim of "don't ask, don't tell".
